KRA announces 200 job vacancies for graduate trainees
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced 200 job vacancies for graduate trainees, inviting qualified and motivated individuals to join the national revenue collection agency.
In an advert published in the government newspaper on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the revenue authority stated that it is looking for results-oriented, self-driven, and dynamic individuals with high integrity to fill the positions.
“The Authority is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions,” the job advert read.
Other job opportunities
Apart from the graduate trainee job opportunity, KRA also asked candidates interested and qualified for various positions in different departments to submit their applications.
The position advertised includes one officer – Data Integration, one officer – Revenue Assurance & Fraud Analytics, one officer – Security Tools Operations, one Officer – Business Application Support, one Officer – Data Centre Operations, one officer – Knowledge Management (Strategy & Programmes), one officer – Knowledge Management (Knowledge Infrastructure) and 50 drivers.

Requirements
The revenue authority urged interested candidates to visit their official career website to view the full specifications and submit online applications by September 8, 2025, at 23:59 hours.
It further cautioned applicants against submitting fake documents.
“Please Note, It is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents and to include incorrect information in the application. Canvassing, falsifying or misrepresentation of qualifications will lead to automatic disqualification,” KRA stated.
“Only shortlisted and successful applicants will be contacted. KRA is committed to affording equal employment opportunities to men and women, members of all ethnic groups and persons with disabilities. People with disabilities, the marginalised and the minorities are therefore encouraged to apply.”
The revenue authority also reminded applicants that the whole recruitment process is free of charge.
“KRA does not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or any other fee at any stage of the recruitment process,” it added.
Successful candidates
“Successful candidates will be expected to present the following certificates/reports in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010: Valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, “KRA announced.
“Valid clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). Valid tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).”
