Kesses MP explains why Ruto will rule until 2032
Kesses Member of Parliament Julius Rutto has expressed confidence that President William Ruto will serve two full terms, extending his leadership until 2032.
Speaking during a live interview with a local media station on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Rutto explained the reasons he believes the current president will win the 2027 presidential elections.
The vocal legislator also described the Head of State as a workaholic whose dedication and performance have already set him apart. He argued that Ruto’s track record in steering the country and delivering on promises made to Kenyans positions him strongly for re-election.
“President Ruto still has another term until 2032; he is a workaholic. Considering his track record in spearheading the country as a leader and fulfilling what he promised Kenyans, he is set for another term until 2032. If we get more leaders like him, this country will truly transform,” Rutto said.

Jalang’o on Ruto’s leadership
Apart from the Kesses MP, Lang’ata lawmaker Phelix Odiwour, alias Jalang’o, also expressed his confidence in Ruto’s re-election, stating that his track record has proven it.
Speaking during an interview with a local blogger on Friday, August 8, 2025, Jalang’o pointed out that there is no Kenyan president who has ever done development work like Ruto’s.
“Sisi ni team two teams, Ruto atapita sana, kwa sababu ya kazi anafanya wananchi wanaona kazi anafanya, William Ruto has turned the whole country into a construction cite, talanta inaendelea, barabara zinaendelea, affordable housing zinaendelea, stadiums zinaendelea,” he said.
“There is no one who has ever done work like William Ruto.”
According to him, there is no strong presidential candidate capable of defeating Ruto in the upcoming general elections.
“Ruto kurudi inaenda kuwa ngumu na kumtoa ndio inaenda kuwa ngumu zaidi, raisi William Ruto ndio anaenda kuwa raisi tena, anaenda kushinda mbali sana. Sijaona mtu anaweza kumtoa,”Jalang’o said.
“Sijaona mtu wakumtoa ama kumsumbua ndio sababu unaona anaongea akiwa na ile confidence anasema ‘sahi siasa bado itafika itaamuliwa.”

Ruto on the 2027 elections
This comes after Ruto declared that he will win the 2027 general elections by a landslide against the opposition, even though the United opposition, led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, has vowed to unseat him.
Speaking in Kisumu Town ahead of the launch of the LV Point Affordable Housing precinct within LV Marina on Thursday, May 29, 2025, Ruto stated that the opposition has no plan or agenda for the Kenyan citizens.
“These are people who have no vision, no plan, and no agenda. We will show them dust; they won’t believe,” he stated.
“All they know is slogans: ‘Ruto must go,’ ‘Kasongo,’ ‘Wantam…’ And I want to tell you we are going to move this country forward.
