Kenya Airways has announced the temporary suspension of flights to and from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU), effective immediately.

In a statement dated Thursday, February 27, 2025, the national carrier announced that the temporary suspension of flights is due to the urgent warning issued by the government of Mauritius regarding the expected impact of Tropical Cyclone Class 3, which is predicted to affect the island and possibly neighbouring regions in the Indian Ocean.
