The Land and Environment Court in Eldoret has dealt a blow to six sons of Uasin Gishu politician Jackson Kibor after it ruled in his favour in a land ownership dispute case.

Justice Anthony Ombwayo said Kibor was the legal owner of the disputed 1,500-acre piece of land in Kebenes.

The court consequently ordered the affected sons to vacate the land within 150 days failure to which they would be forcibly evicted.

The sons are Elkana Kipleting, Evans Kipkosgei, Eric Kipchumba, Raymond Kibitok, Edwin Kipkoech and Ezekiel Kibor.

Justice Ombwayo declared that Kibor is the rightful owner of the original parcel known as LRNo 8300 and 8301 and LR 16896/A .

He directed Uasin Gishu Land Registrar to nullify purported and illegal consolidation and sub-division of the land and issuance of title deeds to the defendants.
