JSC sets dates for interviewing Court of Appeal and High Court judges
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has issued an update on the scheduled interviews for judges expected to fill various positions in the judiciary.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Judicial Service Commission announced that it will conduct interviews for Judge of the Court of Appeal, Judge of the High Court, and Judge of the Environment and Land Court.

“The Judicial Service Commission will conduct interviews for Judge of the Court of Appeal, Judge of the High Court, and Judge of the Environment and Land Court,” JSC said.
According to the Commission, the interview will begin on January 12, 2025, and will come to an end on March 23, 2026.
“The interviews will run from 12th January to 23rd March 2026. The interview schedule is now available. As part of our commitment to transparency, we invite the public to access the detailed schedule through the link below,” JSC added.

The JSC has further listed the names of the shortlisted candidates for the interview, which will be held at the JSC Boardroom, CBK Pension Towers, 12th Floor, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.

“It is notified for general information that JSC will be conducting interviews for the positions from 12th January, 2026, to 23rd March, 2026, at the JSC Boardroom, CBK Pension Towers, 12th Floor, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi,” JSC said.
“The list of shortlisted candidates and the specific dates and times of the interview are indicated in Tables 1 to 3,” JSC noted.

Worth noting, the Judicial Service Commission had advertised at least fifteen positions to fill in the Office of Judge of the Court of Appeal, twenty posts in the Office of Judge of the High Court, and ten posts in the Office of Judge of the Environment and Land Court.
“On 9th June, 2025, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) advertised the following vacancies: fifteen (15) posts in the Office of Judge of the Court of Appeal, twenty (20) posts in the Office of Judge of the High Court, and ten (10) posts in the Office of Judge of the Environment and Land Court,” JSC said.
