Kware deaths: List of items found inside suspect’s Kayole house

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)  has released the name of the prime suspect linked to the deaths of bodies found dumped in sacks in Kware, Mukuru slums, Nairobi.

During a press statement done on Monday, July 15, 2024, Detectives revealed that the 33-year-old Collins Khalisia was arrested after forensic analysis of a mobile phone that belonged to Josephine Owino where some mobile transactions were conducted on the day Josephine went missing.

According to the police, the suspect was arrested Monday morning in Kayole area where he was hiding, upon arrest, he confessed to the serial killings.

“We are dealing with a serial killer who has no respect and dignity for human life, He confessed to us that some of the victims he was able to have carnal knowledge with some of the victims,” DCI boss Mohamed Amin.

Further, Mohamed Amin added that Collins had confessed to killing 42 women, including his wife, between 2022 and July 11, 2024.

The Director of Criminal Investigations boss Mohamed Amin added that the suspect stayed about 500 meters from the Kware dumpsite where at least ten badly mutilated bodies of women were recovered during their operation.

  10. 3 Identification Cards for women
  11. 2 Female Underwears
  12. 1 Pink Female handbag
  13. 5 Rolls of Cannabis Sativa
  14. 4 Huge clear sellotapes (Some recovered from the scene)
  15. 1 Reflector Jacket
  16. 2 Title Deeds
  17. 2 Notebooks
  18. Assorted Documents
  19.  24 Airtel Simcards
  20. Industrial Graphs
  21. A rope (Resembles one that tied up the sacks)
  22.  Some Kenyan Money
