Police in trouble after IG Mutyambai orders investigations into bar raid by men in uniform
Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambia has ordered investigations into the conduct of police officers who carted away alcoholic drinks worth around Ksh110,000 from a bar in Karen.
On Sunday, August 15, Mutyambai dispatched two senior police officers to conduct investigations after a viral video captured the said policemen taking drinks from Spasso Restaurant and Bar in Karen.
A regular at the pub who has since recorded statements with police said two police officers stormed the restaurant at around 8:00 pm and headed straight to the bar.
The customer who has since recorded statements with the police say the bar attendant was caught by surprise when the two officers demanded drinks at the establishment.
