Former Kiambu governor Ferdinard Waititu has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

According to his lawyer Ndegwa Njiru, Waititu was allegedly arrested over utterances he made in Ruiru on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

“Hon. Waititu arrested by DCI officers for an alleged utterance at Ruiru Jana,” Njiru stated.
