‘God remembered me’ – Wanja Nyarari says after visit by spiritual leaders amid grief
By Charles Ouma, January 22, 2026Renowned digital creator Wanja Nyarari has shared a deeply religious message after spiritual and religious leaders visited her to console her as she mourns her mother figure, Nancy Wanjiku Wanja.
The social media personality revealed details about the visit in a statement on her Facebook account, sharing the impact of the visit as she continues to grieve.
“Spiritual leaders and servants of God came to my home, and churches visited to stand with me in prayer, comfort, and love. They did not rush me, they did not judge my tears, and they carried me in faith,” Nyarari stated.
She stated that the spiritual leaders & servants of God uplifted her with their prayers and presence during a trying period in her life.
“Their words from Scripture strengthened my spirit, their prayers calmed my heart, and their presence reminded me that even in loss, I am not alone. Truly, God uses His servants to wrap His children in grace during seasons of pain,” she added.
Nyarari’s prayer for blessings
She prayed for blessings upon every spiritual leader and church that has walked with her every step of the way following the demise of her mother figure on January 14, 2026.
“May God richly bless every spiritual leader and every church that walked with me in this valley. Your love became my strength,” Nyarari continued.
She also appreciated the overwhelming support she has received from friends, including those online.
“And to my online friends, I appreciate you from the depth of my heart… There’s no GS without you,” Nyarari said.
Burial arrangements
The late Nancy Wanjiku Wanja, who Nyarari fondly refers to as the Iron Lady, died while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Her long and brave battle with bronchitis came to an end on January 14, 2026.
Wanja’s burial is set for Friday, January 23, 2026, at Langata Cemetery in Nairobi.
A service at ACK St Luke, located near Kenyatta market opposite Mbagathi hospital, will precede the burial.
The influencer has received overwhelming support during the period of grief and has described it as God showing her His faithfulness.
