Kenya Power announces scheduled blackout for Saturday

Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions for Saturday.

In a statement shared on Friday, the utility company stated that the scheduled interruptions will affect Uasin Gishu and Nyeri Counties.

“Good evening to our esteemed customers. Kindly find tomorrow’s (27.04.2024 ), planned power interruptions attached below,” Kenya Power added.

Parts of Uasin Gishu that will be affected include Safaricom booster area where the blackout will affect Ibinga Market, Ibinga dispensary, Salvation Army Church, Safaricom boosters, Likuani Centre, Likuyani Primary, Likuyani Secondary, Likuyani Health Centre, Sango Market, Sango Water Pump, Mapera Centre and adjacent customers from 10 am to 5 pm.

The blackout in Nyeri will affect parts of Karatina town from 8 am to 5 pm.

Some of the areas that will be affected within the town include; Maguna Supermarket, New Karatina, National Oil Karatina, Kirigu Primary School, Kirigu Catholic Church, Karatina Sewerage, Safaricom Boosters, Karindundu Estate, Jamaica, Mumlock, Karatina Dump site, Muthua Estate, Rafina, Lucky Villa, Diaspora, Matharu, Star Bucks Hotel, Co-op, Family, Equity Banks, Ibis Hotel, Total Petrol Station, Mathaai Supermarket, Salama Miller and adjacent customers.
