AFC Leopards vs KCCA FC: Ingwe announce new kick-off time following venue switch

Ingwe has confirmed the new kick-off time of 3:00 pm through its official communication channels this Friday, August 21, 2026.
“Our friendly match against KCCA FC will now be played at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday,” Ingwe’s confirmation of a new kick-off time read.
Earlier statement on venue change
The change is the latest alteration to affect the highly anticipated test match that was initially slated for the Police Sacco grounds before the host team moved it to Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
This comes after the rivals and opponents for the clash, KCCA, landed in the country on Thursday, August 20, in readiness for the clash. The Uganda champions

The day is poised to be a big preseason event for the Football Kenya Premier League runners-up. The club hierarchy has organised an elaborate and eventful occasion for the day, with the official unveiling of Leopards’ 2026/27 squad as the major highlight.
According to the club, the squad presentation ceremony will precede the match, starting off at 1:00 pm, before the on-pitch action takes centre stage.
Ingwe’s off-season calendar
The Fred Ambani-coached team has enjoyed a bustling preseason tour that took them across Kenyan counties in Nakuru and Kakamega, with a trip to neighbouring Tanzania sandwiched in between.

Their final friendly in Tanzania on Monday against Kagera Sugar was, however, cancelled, leaving the club to return to Kenya
