Real Sociedad’s B team’s Ochieng scored in his fifth consecutive game as the side cruised to a 2-0 win over Cordoba CF.

Ochieng, who recently made his debut in La Liga for the Real Sociedad senior team, bagged a goal on Saturday night as the side won 3-1 over Elche.

Ochieng, who began his journey at Ligi Ndogo before making a bold move to Club Deportivo Maspalomas in Spain at just 17, has been included in the Harambee Stars squad for the FIFA Series friendlies.

Ochieng extends scoring run

Meanwhile, Kenyan hotshot Kibet also stayed on the goals with a sensational four-goal performance for the Spanish side Celta Vigo U19 against CD Roces.

The Rising Stars ace completed a 30th-minute hat trick, a feat that saw him take home the football as Celta Juniors ran riot over the minnows.

“Scored four goals today, a big win for the team. Vamos,” he took to his Facebook to express his elation in his performance.

His club also acknowledged the Kenyan hotshot for the sterling performance.

“From heartbreak to hero in just 4 days after Thursday’s Copa del Rey semi-final… Aldrine Kibet came back today and went crazy,” the club statement read.

National team prospects

The Kenyan has now scored a whopping five goals in a space of four days.

Kibet’s previous appearance for Celta Vigo’s youth team was in a 3-2 defeat to Real Betis in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, where he scored a brace on Wednesday night, March 11, 2026. 

The duo’s impact has ignited the hopes of cementing their places on the Kenya national team, Harambee Stars, as the nation eagerly embarks on assembling a formidable team for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2027.
