Shariff Musa’s backflips
Shariff Musa Sirengo is renowned for his acrobatic side-flip somersault after scoring. The dreadlocked attacker has repeatedly wowed fans with his 360-degree flip and flawless landing as his signature move.
Nairobi United’s Ovella Ochieng also uses a similar flip, popularised by former African star Julius Aghahowa and Manchester United legend Nani.

He occasionally made a point to spice up the joyous occasion with a memorable celebration. At Nyayo Stadium against KCB, he stunned crowds with a smooth knee slide rarely seen on Kenya’s uneven pitches.
Days later, he nailed a hip slide after a spectacular strike for Nairobi United against Azam FC in the CAF Confederations Cup (January 2026). The goal and celebration went viral on CAF’s social media, earning praise from across the continent.
Ebenezer Adukwaw’s ‘big balls’
Ghanaian import Ebenezer Adukwaw delivered something truly unique. While players often tuck the ball under their jersey to signal pregnancy, Adukwaw squeezed it into his shorts—creating a comical “big balls” celebration that had fans in stitches.
Dancing Kayci
AFC Leopards has also been home to exciting goal celebrations.
