By , March 7, 2026

The Football Kenya Federation has announced two changes to the kickoff times of the round 32 clashes of the premier knockout competition, FKF Cup, slated for Sunday, March 8, 2026

In a statement on Saturday, March 7, 2026, FKF confirmed that changes affecting the Gor Mahia vs. BB Bread and Kuta Collections clash against Kenya School of Government (KSG) Ogopa.

The Gor-BB bread tie, initially scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm, has been pushed back by half an hour and will now kick off at 3:00 pm.

The match venue at the Nyayo National Stadium, however, remains unchanged.

Moreover, the KSG Opopa date with Kuta Collections will also kick off at 3:30 pm.

The clash will be staged at the Kasarani Annex.

The non-league Kuta Collection eliminated Division One side Al Azizia Football Club in a dramatic penalty shootout in the round of 32 tie played at Kinoru Stadium in February 2026.

BB Bread bullish ahead of Gor tie

Ahead of their encounter against the 2025 finalists, the high-flying Nairobi Regional League Zone A team, BB Bread, expressed confidence in extending their giant-slaying run against another fancied top-league opposition.

The Nairobi Regional League side stunned AFC Leopards in the previous round, edging Fred Ambani’s team on post-match penalty shootouts after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Heading into the clash, BB Bread’s Team Liaison Manager Philip Gitonga welcomed the fixture that pits the little-known side against two of Kenya’s most famous clubs within a span of a month.

“For sporting reasons, it is a good fixture, an opportunity for them to prepare and pull another surprise,” he told FKF after learning of the team’s draw on February 19, 2026.

Bullish BB Bread

Quizzed on his team’s chances to put Gor Mahia to the sword, a bullish Gitonga curtly retorted, “Why not?”—in a confident affirmation of his team’s chances against the high-riding FKF PL outfit.

The little-known club will be aiming to add Gor Mahia to their casualty list after their stunning elimination of AFC Leopards in the previous rounds.
