FKF boss Hussein Mohammed rallies fans for FIFA Women’s Series
Nairobi is gearing up for an exciting celebration of women’s football as the inaugural FIFA Women Series 2026 draws closer, with just 10 days remaining before kickoff.
The particular international friendly matches are scheduled to take place from Saturday, April 11, to Wednesday, April 15, marking a significant moment for the growth and visibility of the women’s game in Kenya, as Harambee Starlets host the event with the squad already named.
Ahead of the tournament, fans have been urged to secure their seats early. Prices have been set to cater to a wide audience, with ordinary tickets going for Ksh 300, VIP tickets at Ksh 1,000, and VVIP access priced at Ksh 5,000.

The tournament forms part of the global FIFA Series initiative aimed at strengthening international competition and giving national teams valuable match experience. The competition will feature Harambee Starlets alongside Australia, India, and Malawi.
Opening fixtures
The tournament will kick off with two matches lined up at Nyayo Stadium.
Harambee Starlets will face India at 6:00 pm in the day’s headline fixture, while Australia will take on Malawi earlier at 2:00 pm at the same venue.
Finals day
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with the third-place playoff set to be played at 2.00 pm, followed by the final at 6.00 pm to determine the inaugural FIFA Women’s Series champion.
