Ex-Gor Mahia ace Enock Wanyama joins Taiwan club Tatung FC

Former Kenya U20 midfielder Enock Wanyama has rejoined Taiwan’s top-tier professional football league side, Tatung FC.
The club confirmed the acquisition of the immediate former APS Bomet midfielder on Thursday, February 5, 2026, through a social media post.
“Enock Wanyama Jr. Welcome to TATUNG FC, wanyamajr10,” part of the club statement read.
Wanyama is among four players roped in by the Taipei-based club in the midseason window.
The former Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks man joined K’Ogalo in January 2024 to much fanfare, coming from stints abroad in Slovakia and his first stint with the Leopards Cat (Tatung FC original name).

He was later declared surplus to requirements a season later alongside Musa Masika, Dolph Owino, and Kevin Juma as Gor revamped its squad for the second leg of the 2025 Kenyan Premier League.
Besides his stint in the FKF Premier League, Wanyama was a member of the U20 team, where he was a mainstay in the Harambee Stars youth setup, featuring for the U20 and U23 sides.
He was an integral part of the Harambee Stars U20 team that featured in Arusha in 2020. The Stanley Okumbi-led team claimed a fourth-place finish in a campaign that culminated with Wanyama earning a trial in the Slovakian side, FK Pohronie

In 2022, the club temporarily rebranded to Leopard Cat Football Club (or Taiwan Leopard Cat FC), changing its name, crest, and colours, a move taken to ostensibly see the team comply with league rules and avoid potential exclusion or relegation from the top tier.
It later reverted to its original name, Tatung FC.
The club is currently ranked fifth in the 8-team premier league standings, ten points behind league leaders, Hang Yuen, who have 25 points.
