Transfers: Arsenal consider move for Bradley Barcola, Chelsea to release 15 players

Arsenal could enter the race for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola as they continue searching for a new left-sided attacker.
According to reports in the British press, the Gunners are considering making a move for Barcola after missing out on their preferred target, Vinicius Junior, who has committed his future to Real Madrid.
The development could complicate Liverpool’s reported pursuit of the France international, with Arsenal potentially looking to beat the Reds to his signature.
Arsenal draw up three-man left-wing shortlist
Manager Mikel Arteta is understood to be keen on adding another option on the left flank before the transfer window closes.
With Vinicius Junior no longer available, Arsenal are reportedly considering three alternatives: Barcola, Julian Alvarez and Iliman Ndiaye.

Barcola has emerged as a particularly attractive option after establishing himself as an important member of PSG’s attacking unit. His pace, ability to take on defenders and versatility make him a potential fit for Arteta’s system.
Barcelona test Man City’s resolve over Rodri
Elsewhere in the Premier League transfer market, Barcelona have reportedly made an offer of £38.5 million for Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
City are said to have rejected the proposal and are demanding a fee of at least £60 million for the Spain international.
Rodri’s future has become a major talking point amid reports that Barcelona are determined to bring him to Camp Nou.
Manchester City, meanwhile, are reportedly examining possible replacements and have identified Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez as one player they could target.
Chelsea face major squad changes
Chelsea could also experience significant movement before the summer window shuts.
Reports suggest the London club could sanction the departures of as many as 15 players, with around 10 of those potentially leaving on temporary deals.
The potential clear-out would allow Chelsea to reduce the size of their squad while creating opportunities for players who remain part of the manager’s plans.

Newcastle looking to strengthen defence
Newcastle United are also working on defensive reinforcements.
The Magpies are reportedly searching for additions at both full-back positions, with their recruitment team monitoring several options.
Among the players being assessed is 19-year-old Racing Santander right-back Jorge Salinas, who has also attracted interest from Aston Villa.
