Done deals: List of completed transfers by top EPL clubs so far

The 2026 summer transfer window continues to generate widespread interest, with Premier League clubs making major moves to reshape their squads ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The summer transfer window officially opened on Monday, June 15, 2026, and will run through until the deadline day on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Midway through the campaign, clubs will get another opportunity to adjust their squads when the winter transfer window opens on Friday, January 1, 2027, before shutting on Monday, February 1, 2026.

Sides across the division have laid down serious markers as pre-season preparations intensify.

New coaches

The league’s top sides see a new addition in dugouts with Enzo Maresca, Andoni Iraola, and Xabi Alonso the new managers at Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea respectively, heading into the new season.

Manchester City made one of the biggest splashes of the window by securing England international midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

The modern box-to-box midfielder arrives at the Etihad Stadium to provide relentless energy, tackling grit, and creativity to City’s engine room.

Across North London, Tottenham Hotspur completed a massive squad overhaul led by the record-breaking signing of Italian international midfielder Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United and defender Andy Robertson from Liverpool

Spurs further reinforced their spine by snatching Dutch centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton to anchor their defence, alongside adding young Portuguese midfielder Mateus Fernandes from West Ham.

Chelsea on the mend

In yet another season, Chelsea, under new coach Alonso, continued their rebuilding with a fresh approach.

The Blues brought in Portuguese teenage winger Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP on July 8, 2026, and Italian wing-back Marco Palestra from Atalanta to refresh their flanks.

In one of the window’s most surprising moves, Chelsea signed veteran forward Danny Welbeck from Brighton on Saturday, August 1, 2025, adding crucial Premier League goalscoring experience and leadership to their front line. He adds to the prior record signing from Aston Villa, Morgan Rogers.

The Blues appear not yet done with links to La Liga defender Pep Chavarria and Jordan Henderson, expected to follow suit. Their outgoings include Marc Cucurella, who joins Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Liverpool acted swiftly to reinforce, capturing highly rated French central defender Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes and signing Spanish winger Víctor Muñoz from Osasuna to inject directness and creative flair.

The Reds have seen major departures, with Mo Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konate all leaving Anfield at the end of the season.
