Nick Bigfish calls for massive celebrations ahead of Arsenal’s potential Champions League victory

Popular Kenyan comedian and passionate Arsenal supporter, Nick Bigfish has unveiled an ambitious three-day programme of celebrations should Arsenal clinch the UEFA Champions League title against reigning holders Paris Saint-Germain this weekend, Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Budapest.

In a statement shared on Friday night, May 29, 2026 ahead of the highly anticipated final, Bigfish expressed confidence that the newly-crowned English Premier League champions will emerge victorious at the Puskas Arena and urged Arsenal fans across Kenya to prepare for what he described as a “total shutdown” once the trophy is secured.

According to the prankster, celebrations will begin immediately after the final whistle on Saturday night, with Arsenal expected to lift the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy by 10:00 pm local time.

The festivities are set to continue on Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, when Arsenal supporters will gather at Nairobi’s National Archives from 10:00 am for what Bigfish termed the “mother of all victory processions” through the city’s streets. The procession will include a moment of silence in honour of the victims of the recent tragedy at Utumishi Girls Academy before fans embark on the celebratory march.

The procession is scheduled to conclude at 2:00 PM, after which some Arsenal supporters are expected to join Gor Mahia fans for celebrations marking the club’s Kenya Premier League title coronation.

Bigfish also emphasised the importance of social responsibility, announcing that Arsenal supporters would participate in Monday’s Femicide and Pedicide March. He said the move would demonstrate solidarity with women, girls, children and fellow Kenyans affected by gender-based violence and other social challenges.

“Come in numbers. Come with energy. Come ready to make history!” Bigfish urged Arsenal fans, calling on supporters to turn out in large numbers should the Gunners secure European football’s biggest prize.

Meanwhile, the planned celebrations come shortly after thousands of Arsenal fans in Kenya thronged Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) for an eagerly-awaited English Premier League trophy parade at the National Archives, bringing normal activities to a halt.

Donning the Gunners’ famous home shirts, the Arsenal faithful painted Moi Avenue red, singing and dancing after Mikel Arteta broke a 22-year-old Premier League title winless jinx at the Emirates recently.

Arsenal supporters worldwide are eagerly awaiting the Champions League final, with many hoping the club can finally capture the coveted trophy and bring an end to their long wait for European glory.
