Bandari FC receive major boost as Abdallah Hassan returns from lengthy injury

The midfielder, widely known for his powerful shots from distance, was officially cleared by the club’s medical team and resumed activities with the squad on Saturday, March 7, 2026, as the Dockers edged Bumbani FC to storm the 2026 FKF Cup Round of 16.
His return comes as welcome news for the Dockers as they continue their campaign in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League. Bandari confirmed the development through a club statement, describing the midfielder as a “destroyer” whose presence could reignite their attacking threat.

“Long range missiles expert Abdallah Hassan Abdallah was yesterday cleared by the doctors and made a return from his five-week injury. Our enemies should now prepare evasive manoeuvres, as the DESTROYER is back,” the club stated on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Abdallah’s comeback is expected to strengthen Bandari’s midfield options as the league enters a decisive phase, especially given his reputation for scoring spectacular goals from distance and dictating play in the middle of the park.
However, despite the positive update, the coastal side is still grappling with several injury concerns within the squad. Defenders Beja Nyamawi and William Gitama remain long-term absentees as they continue their recovery programmes.
Cases under watch
Meanwhile, Mohamed Barisa, Naaman Balecho, Swaleh Pamba and Andrew Juma are currently dealing with short-term injuries and are being monitored by the medical staff.
Additionally, Erisat Orute and experienced forward Hamisi Mwaphalu are still awaiting medical clearance before they can rejoin full team activities.
Bandari will be hoping the gradual return of injured players, beginning with Abdallah, will help restore squad depth as the team aims to maintain consistency in the league and strengthen their push for positive results.
