Geoffrey Mosiria has issued an update on two Nairobians he rescued months ago in Nairobi CBD.

Through a post on Facebook on Wednesday, January 28, 2025, Mosiria promised that he will ensure that the lives of the duo will change forever.

Giving an update, Mosiria revisited the story of Alex, a young man he encountered earlier this year in the city.

He said the interaction began with a simple conversation that later revealed deeper struggles.

“Do you remember these two? This is Alex, a young man I encountered earlier this year. I engaged him in conversation, and he opened up about what he had been going through and how much he needed help,” Mosiria said.

He added that Alex accepted the support that was offered to him, leading to his admission to a rehabilitation centre.

“He accepted the support I offered, and we took him to a rehabilitation centre where he has been doing very well,” he said.

According to Mosiria, the progress has not only been visible at the facility but has also reunited Alex with his family.

“His family later reached out and expressed great joy and gratitude. Today, his aunt also visited him at the facility, and it was a truly encouraging moment,” he noted.

Hope beyond the streets

Mosiria also shared the journey of Martha Njoki, a woman he rescued from the streets of Nairobi CBD. He said she was in a critical state when they first met.

“The other person is Martha Njoki, a lady I rescued from the streets of Nairobi CBD. She had been deeply affected by drug abuse and was in a very bad condition,” Mosiria said.

He explained that Martha reached out for help, which was immediately offered. “She reached out for help, which I willingly offered.

I’m glad to report that she is doing very well and responding positively to the rehabilitation process,” he added.

Looking ahead, Mosiria promised continued support for both Alex and Martha even after rehabilitation.

“Once they complete the program, I will also ensure they are supported in getting jobs so they can rebuild their lives and stay on the right path,” he said.

“This is why we must never give up on people. With a little care, support, and hope, lives can truly change,” Mosiria concluded.
