Geoffrey Mosiria hilariously copies iShowSpeed as he hints at US tour
By David Nthua, January 12, 2026With the dust of IShowSpeed’s electrifying weekend tour in Nairobi slowly settling, Geoffrey Mosiria has stepped into the spotlight with a playful yet telling response that has set social media buzzing.
Taking to his Facebook page, the Nairobi County Chief Officer saluted Kenyan Gen Zs for the passion they displayed and jokingly hinted that he too deserves the same kind of global welcome.
Mosiria said he was deeply moved by how young Kenyans behaved when they failed to see the American YouTube sensation at the KICC.

Instead of chaos, he said they chose to celebrate one of their own, a creative fan he dubbed ISO-MORE-SERIOUS. To Mosiria, it was proof that Gen Zs are sincere, loyal and full of heart.
“When they love, they love from their heart,” he wrote, adding that he had been shocked by their honesty and discipline.
A Gen Z moment
According to Mosiria, the energy outside KICC was not wasted, as stranded fans turned the disappointment into a festival of creativity and unity.
He said this spirit inspired him to challenge Kenyans to rally behind him in the same way.
In a humorous appeal, he urged people to follow him on TikTok and Facebook, saying he only needed 20 million followers to take his own tour to the United States and test whether he would be celebrated there like international stars are in Kenya.

Mosiria even joked about sourcing millions of extra followers from Uganda, Tanzania, and Somalia so he could head to Minnesota and attempt his own version of an IShowSpeed-style challenge.
Supporting hidden talent
Beyond the jokes, Mosiria also highlighted the plight of a Kenyan artist who had designed a graphic T-shirt for IShowSpeed but failed to meet the YouTuber.
He expressed sympathy for the fan, saying it was painful after all the effort put into the artwork. Mosiria appealed to anyone who was with IShowSpeed to inform him about the gifted T-shirt.

He pledged to personally support the artist, promising to ensure his talent grows beyond Kenya’s borders. Mosiria said if he fails to reach IShowSpeed, ISO-MORE-SERIOUS would step in to help uplift the young creative.
ISO-MORE-SERIOUS is a fine-tuned phrase to mean Mosiria, which is his name.
The lighthearted message has sparked laughter and admiration online, with many Kenyans praising Mosiria for connecting with Gen Z culture while also using the moment to push for support of local talent
Even as he joked about becoming Kenya’s IShowSpeed, Mosiria’s underlying message was clear: celebrate your own and give young creatives a chance to shine.
