Getting assistance from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) often stalls when enquiries land on the wrong departmental desk.

To clear up communication bottlenecks, NTSA published an updated contact guide on August 3, 2026. The operational directory outlines dedicated email addresses, phone lines, and web links for driving licences, motor vehicle transfers, PSV badges, and logbooks.

Driver licensing and driving school management

Drivers seeking driving licence updates often face delays when using generic contact channels. NTSA established dlqueries@ntsa.go.ke specifically for Smart DL enquiries, Smart DL status, and DL record update.

Learner drivers and driving school operators also have a dedicated communication desk.

Vehicle owners needing roadworthiness assessments can email inspectionqueries@ntsa.go.ke for “All Motor vehicle inspection services”.

PSV operators, phone support, and fraud prevention

Public transport operators managing public transport operator services can resolve operational matters via psvqueries@ntsa.go.ke. This desk handles PSV badge enquiries, PSV Sacco enquiries, and RSL/TSL support.

To report integrity issues, details on corruption cases should be sent to integrity@ntsa.go.ke.
