Fixing this problem does not mean spending on expensive repairs if caught early. A quick laser wheel alignment at a local service centre usually costs between Ksh1,500 and Ksh3,000.
During the service, mechanics adjust three main angles: camber, caster, and toe. Camber makes sure the tyre stands straight, while toe alignment keeps the wheels pointing forward instead of turning inward or outward.
Getting an alignment check after hitting a bad pothole or every 10,000 kilometres keeps wear even across all four tyres. Keep an eye out for common signs like steering wheel vibration, the car pulling to one side, or uneven tread depth.
