Foods you should eat every week for better health

A balanced diet can help your body get the vitamins, minerals, protein, fibre and healthy fats it needs to stay strong and work properly.
Here are some foods you should try to eat every week for better health.
1. Leafy green vegetables
Vegetables such as spinach, sukuma wiki and kale are rich in vitamins A, C and K. They also contain iron, calcium and fibre. Eating leafy greens regularly can support healthy bones, improve digestion and help your body fight illness.
2. Eggs
Eggs are a good source of high-quality protein and contain important nutrients like vitamin B12, choline, and vitamin D. They can help keep you full for longer and support muscle growth and brain health.
3. Beans and lentils
Beans, ndengu and other legumes are affordable and packed with protein, fibre and iron. They help improve digestion, keep blood sugar levels steady and can support heart health when eaten regularly.
