Yagga hails Kenya as Africa’s goat after IShowSpeed’s massive first-day reception
Kenyan-based South Sudanese digital content creator Yagga has praised Kenya following the overwhelming reception American YouTube star IShowSpeed received on his first day in the country, declaring Kenya the GOAT of Africa.
Reacting to the scenes from IShowSpeed’s first live stream in Kenya, Yagga, in a video shared on his official social media accounts on Sunday, January 11, 2026, said the energy and numbers recorded had set a very high bar for other African countries.
According to him, Kenya’s reception was so massive that it would be difficult for any other stop on the tour to match it.
“If you know your African country is not going to give Speed this type of energy, Kenya has given him, just close the tour, let him end the tour with Kenya because Kenya is the goat of Africa,” Yagga said.

Yagga further pointed to IShowSpeed’s rapid subscriber growth as proof of Kenya’s impact, noting that the YouTuber gained over 300,000 subscribers during his first live stream in the country.
He questioned whether any other country on the continent could deliver similar numbers and enthusiasm.
“Do you know what it means to gain over 300k YouTube subscribers in the first stream in the country? If you know your country is not going to give Speed these numbers, this energy, the tour is done because Kenya has set the bar for African countries,” he said.
Speed’s first day in Kenya
This comes as IShowSpeed ended his first day in Kenya on a deeply emotional note after a whirlwind livestream that shut down parts of Nairobi and smashed his Africa tour subscriber record.
Speed wrapped up the stream after gaining 360,000 YouTube subscribers.
Overcome with excitement, he revealed that Kenya had delivered his biggest single-country subscriber surge ever during his Africa tour.
“Bro, we gained 360,000 subs in one stream. I have never gained this much in any country ever,” he said, shouting over the roaring chat.

He confirmed that the milestone pushed him to 48 million subscribers, prompting an outpouring of gratitude.
“Everybody, Kenya, everybody in the chat, I love y’all so much. Kenya, I will never forget y’all. Kenya is number one right now,” he added.
Speed confirmed that his Kenya tour is far from over, revealing that he will continue streaming across the country, with the next session expected on Monday, January 12, 2025.
