Media personality Oga Obinna has responded to a man who boldly asked to be his Valentine ahead of the special day.

The situation started after a video surfaced online showing the man, who identifies as Angie, expressing admiration for the radio host.

In the clip shared by Oga Obinna on Friday, February 13, 2026, Angie openly confessed a crush on Obinna and shared how much he adores him, saying that he would be the perfect partner and that he would care for his five children.

“Oga Obinna, that man is so cute. I will be the cutest mother to his children. I will protect him. Oga Obinna, will you be my Valentine?” the man who identifies as Angie said.

After catching wind of the video, Obinna warned the man lightly, saying he would not seek legal action against him.

“Huyu hata staki loya, munez tafuta huyu ugonge kama burukenge 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️ why are you geh,” he wrote.

This comes hot on the heels of another man boldly asking Head of Customer Care and Citizens Engagement, Geoffrey Mosiria, to be his Valentine.

The man was carrying a placard in CBD and he quickly went viral on the internet for his unusual request to Mosiria.

Taking to his Facebook, Mosiria shared that he had met the man still standing at the same spot that he was filmed at on that day.

“So many people tagged me yesterday about this young man who had made a placard with my name at the Archives. Today, while I was in the CBD on official duty, I found him still standing at the same spot with the same placard and took time to engage him in a conversation,” Mosiria said.

He inquired of the young man why he chose such a public method, knowing that some might misinterpret his intentions or see them in a negative light.

The young man responded, acknowledging how quickly controversies can spread in Kenya, and felt this was the quickest way to deliver his message to Mosiria.

He then clarified that he is heterosexual, has a girlfriend, and simply sought a chance to speak with Mosiria to gain advice on improving his life.
