‘Wataozea jela’- Guardian Angel vows action against trolls targeting wife Esther Musila
Celebrated gospel singer Peter Omwaka, widely known as Guardian Angel, has issued a strong warning to people who have been attacking his wife, Esther Musila, on social media.
In a statement shared on his official Instagram account on Friday, January 23, 2026, Guardian Angel said he believes the insults and online harassment will one day come to an end.
However, he warned that before that happens, serious consequences will be faced by some of those behind the attacks.

“Najua hii Matusi itaisha tu siku moja. Kuna wale wataozea Jela, kuna wengine watapoteza vidole, kuna wale watauliwa pia, yani itakua mambo mengi sana but laziima itaisha tu trust me ITAISHA!“Guardian Angel warned.
“Itawaka sana! Itakua mbaya! (2026)“
Guardian Angel and Esther Musila have been frequent targets of online trolls, mainly due to their age difference and their highly publicised marriage.

Salasya’s warning
This comes days after Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salasya came out strongly in defence of Esther Musila.
In a statement shared on his official Instagram account on Friday, January 16, 2026, Salasya urged Kenyans to stop criticising and insulting Musila over her age.
He emphasised that age is just a number and that respect should be given rather than insults.
“To those insulting my inlaw Esther Musila, for her age, please stop it. Age is just a number. Imagine ako 50 na wewe unamutusi ati ako old na maybe uko 25 sasa iki happen umekufa kama ujafikisha hiyo 50 na yeye aende hadi 100 who is a loser?” Salasya stated.
He also pointed out that while online critics continue to age, Esther Musila keeps looking younger and thriving
“My in-law, no one should shake you down infact old is gold. Keep soaring, ata mimi nikipata rika yako na ako na figure kaa hiyo yako na anipende siezi kataa bora akuwe na pesa asinisumbue anataka upkeep.keep soaring and growing younger and younger each year as those who keep insulting you keep ageing daily and faster kama vibe ishowspeed,” he added.

Musila to haters
Earlier, Esther Musila unapologetically threw shade at her online critics.
Taking to her official Instagram account on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, Musila shared a video with the song of her husband featuring Rose Muhando, dubbed Kimya, playing in the background, accompanied by a caption addressing her online critics.
In her caption, she said that her only resolution was to live so boldly that her haters would have to cover their ears.
“My only resolution is to live so loudly that the “Prophets of Doom” have to cover their ears,” she wrote.
Musila’s post appears to signal her commitment to focusing on her personal growth and career, undeterred by negativity
Throughout her public life, Musila has become accustomed to online harassment, particularly regarding her relationship with Guardian Angel, who is younger than her.
