Wanja Nyarari overjoyed as daughter joins Riara Girls High after stellar KJSEA performance

Kikuyu digital creator Wanja Nyarari has shared an emotional and celebratory post after her daughter, who has been studying at Riara Schools, officially joined Riara Springs Girls’ High School, marking another milestone in her academic journey.
In a post she made on Facebook on Monday, January 19, 2026, Wanja reflected on her role as a mother, describing the pride she feels in seeing her children grow into confident, independent, and self-assured young adults.
“I have fulfilled my duties as a mum. I showed up. I stood firm. I loved fiercely. I protected, guided, and gave my very best,” she said.
She emphasised that her efforts as a parent, protecting, guiding, and supporting her children, have prepared them to take charge of their futures and embrace responsibility as they move into the next stage of their education.
Wanja highlighted her belief in empowering the younger generation, noting that Gen Z and Gen Alpha are now stepping into leadership roles and shaping their own paths.
“Now I watch them rise, confident, vocal, and sure of themselves. If that means Gen Z and Gen Alpha are running the show, then I did my job well,” she wrote.

She added that she sees this moment as the fulfilment of her role as a parent, entrusting her daughter with the responsibility and excitement of starting a new chapter at Riara Springs Girls’ High School.
“Mission accomplished Riara Springs Girls’ High School over to her, i have told her the future is in her hands,” she shared.
Stellar results
This announcement follows Wanja’s previous celebratory post in December 2025, when she unveiled her daughter’s stellar Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA) results.
At the time, she shared that her child had completed nine years of study at Riara Schools with remarkable performance, including Exceeding Expectation grades in English, Integrated Science, Agriculture, and Christian Religious Education, as well as strong marks in other subjects such as Social Studies, Mathematics, and Kiswahili.

In that earlier post, Wanja reflected on her own educational journey, expressing pride that her daughter’s academic achievements surpassed anything she had attained personally.
“To be honest, I am so happy. I did not know that a dropout could give birth to sharp brains. The kids of mine will study to the levels I did not,” she wrote.
Wanja also spoke of her daughter’s career ambitions in the legal field, saying that the family would actively support her as she grows into her career aspirations.
“Here we come! Congratulations to all who worked hard for nine years. With a lawyer in the house, we now have to be active in court to support their careers,” she added.
