Wanja Nyarari claims her mother figure was manipulated with false prophecies before dying

Social media personality Wanja Nyarari has shared shocking revelations following the untimely passing of Nancy Wanjiku Wanja, who had been a mother figure to her since childhood.

In a detailed Facebook post on Saturday, January 17, 2026, Wanja recounted how, in the days leading up to her mother figure’s death, manipulative forces were at play.

She explained that a relative had enlisted fake prophets to deliver false prophecies, deliberately instilling fear in her mother.

“In one of the chapters of my book, I will tell my story, with receipts. It is the story of how a niece manipulated my patient, using fake prophets to deliver false prophecies,” she wrote.

Wanja claimed that the relative attempted to convince her mother figure that she wished her harm in order to inherit her estate, a claim that deeply shocked and hurt her.

“And how she told my Iron Lady that I wanted to kill her so that I could inherit from her🥺. Thinking that she would be put as next of kin, she was told to go collect paperwork so my iron lady writes next of kin, and then boooooom! Shocker on her, my iron lady put My GenZ Arch Mwangi as her next of kin last week but one; she was so hurt handing over to me what my iron lady wrote and signed!” she wrote.

Wanja described the psychological and emotional toll of these actions, explaining that the words of death and fear were calculated to control her mother figure, rather than guide or heal her.

“Those words of death were planted deliberately to create fear in a vulnerable patient, fear disguised as family concern and spiritual warning. Prophecies spoken not to heal, but to control. Accusations whispered repeatedly until they began to sound like truth,” Wanja wrote.

She further explained how, even in her mother figure’s last moments, the truth remained clear to her: that God was her protector, even in the face of these secret plots.

“In the last week, listening to my Iron Lady on her deathbed recount what each person said and did, it became clear to me that God is my protector. He protects me even in places where I do not know evil is being plotted against me,” she wrote.

Wanja then thanked God that her late mother figure had not believed the false narratives being spread about her.

She recalled that on the last day before her passing, her mother figure took her hand and offered comforting words, assuring her that nothing bad would happen to her.

“Am happy that my iron lady held my hand at Kenyatta National Hospital Prime Care Centre and confessed to me that my mother’s daughters’ daughter, hii hamtaelewa, had manipulated her with false prophecies and told me, “when they could not attack you, they told me you visit diviners; that is why nothing happens to you but i love you so much because i have lived with you and heard you pray abd praise in the house, and when they told me to move out of your house, i knew they were the ones who wanted me dead,’” she added.

Wanja then confirmed that her mother figure’s memorial service would take place at ACK St Paul’s Waruku, Kangemi, while the burial service would be held at ACK St Luke’s, Kenyatta Market.

She added that the interment would be at Lang’ata Cemetery, next to the resting place of her grandmother, who had wished that Nancy be buried beside her when her time came.

“Tomorrow, we hold a memorial service at Ack St Paul’s Waruku Kangemi, led by Rev Sarah. Burial Service on 23rd Friday, at ACK St Luke’s Kenyatta market opposite Mbagathi hospital, interment at Langata Cemetery next to where i burried my cucu; that was her wish,” she wrote.
