VJ Patelo issues update on wife Diana’s pregnancy
Arbantone singer VJ Patelo has shared a reassuring update regarding the much-anticipated arrival of his child with wife Diana.
Speaking in an interview shared by Tropicom on TikTok on Tuesday, February 2, 2026, the ‘Wakudumu’ crooner confirmed that it’s true they are expecting a child but asked for privacy as they prepare for the new addition to their family.

“Yeah, we are expecting our junior soon, and we will welcome him. Soon you will see the child once he is born,” he shared.
Patelo revealed that his wife is doing well and that they are eagerly awaiting the child’s arrival.
He assured fans that the baby is on the way and that they will be able to see him once he is born.
The singer, however, remained tight-lipped on further details, emphasising that he preferred to keep the matter private until the child arrives.
“He is on the way, but I don’t want to speak too much on that matter. But the junior is coming, and you all will see him,” Patelo said.
Diana’s announcement
The Arbantone singer’s wife shared news of her pregnancy for the first time on Saturday, November 8, 2025, after she failed to appear for a scheduled club performance in Lodwar, where she was set to accompany her husband.
Taking to her social media platforms, Diana apologised to fans for missing the event, explaining that her pregnancy had made it difficult for her to travel.
“To all my fans in Lodwar, I am so sorry because I could not make it. I am not feeling well. I am pregnant, so I could not make it all the way there. Please bear with me. Next time I will come. Have a blast with my husband,” she said.
VJ Patelo and Diana became online sensations earlier this year following their lavish wedding on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Naiposha Gardens in Limuru.
The glamorous event, which Patelo claimed cost over Ksh500 million, featured limousine convoys, an imported cake from Dubai, and gold wedding rings worth Ksh1.5 million combined.
Videos from the event went viral, showing a grand affair that combined opulence and street culture.
Diana’s announcement came months after the couple revealed that they already have three children, with the eldest aged 20.
In a previous interview, Diana shared that they had always hoped to grow their family, while Patelo said he has “no limit” when it comes to having children.
Patelo also shared that he is 26 years old while his wife is 29, adding that their relationship is built on mutual understanding and support
