Victoria Beckham reacts as son, Brooklyn, accuses family of ruining his marriage

Victoria Beckham has responded after her son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, made serious claims about their family and said he does not want reconciliation.
“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she told The Wall Street Journal in an article published April 16.
“And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
The situation comes after Brooklyn publicly accused his parents of trying to interfere in his marriage to wife Nicola Peltz Beckham. His remarks have brought renewed attention to the ongoing tension within the Beckham family and how deep the disagreement has become.
Brooklyn made it clear that he has drawn a line and does not plan to fix the relationship at the moment. The 26-year-old said he is no longer willing to stay silent about his experience within the family. He also said he feels the need to speak out about how things have been handled in the public eye over the years. Victoria Beckham later addressed the matter briefly as the story continued to grow online.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Brooklyn Peltz Beckham said, according to an article by E! News.
Beckham family tensions deepen over marriage claims
Brooklyn explained that he feels his family has controlled public narratives about their private life. He said he is now standing up for himself for the first time. He also claimed that social media posts and public appearances did not reflect the real situation behind the scenes. According to him, there has been a long-standing issue between him and his parents.
“I’m not being controlled; I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” Brooklyn Peltz Beckham said.
He further alleged that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, tried to influence his decisions before his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham. He said there were attempts to pressure him and even claims about disagreements involving wedding arrangements. Brooklyn also accused Victoria of stepping back from making Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment. These claims have added more tension to the already-strained relationship.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” Brooklyn Peltz Beckham said.
Brooklyn went on to say that he believes many stories shared publicly do not show the full truth. He added that he has seen what he describes as efforts to shape media reports in a certain way. According to him, this has affected not only him but also people close to him. He insisted that the truth would eventually come out despite the current conflict.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media,” Brooklyn Peltz Beckham said.
