Victor Naman sends message to Yesu wa Tongaren ahead of Easter

As Easter approaches, comedian and digital content creator Victor Naman has taken a moment to publicly honour popular preacher Eliud Wekesa, famously known as Yesu wa Tongaren, with a heartfelt message.
In a message shared on his official Facebook account, Victor revealed that Yesu wa Tongaren is his spiritual father and expressed his admiration and love for the preacher.
The comedian described Yesu wa Tongaren as a guiding figure in his spiritual journey, calling him Papa and showing deep respect for the religious leader.
“With my spiritual Dad Yesu wa Tongaren, ahead of Easter and crucifixion. We love you Papa. You will go to heaven,” Victor wrote.

Yesu wa Tongaren on Easter
The leader of the New Jerusalem sect, who claims to be Jesus Christ and refers to himself as the same, during a past interview with local stations, disclosed reasons as to why he would not be crucified on easter.
Yesu wa Tongaren noted that even in the Bible, Jesus was only crucified once, and therefore, he cannot be crucified for the second time.
He maintained that for now, he has come for the second time to save those who believe in Jesus and not to die for their sins yet again.
“I came back to complete the work that I started more than 2000 years ago when I left earth,” Yesu wa Tongaren said at his home in Lukokhwe village.
“Jesus was crucified only once, and since I have come for the second time, it is written that I come to save those who await me, not to die for their sins a second time.”
During the same interview, the self-proclaimed Jesus also contested the timing of Easter festivities and declared that, according to him, the festivities should kick off on July 28 and run up to July 30.

Church
Yesu wa Tongaren built his church, the Jerusalem Mpya Kanisa la Yesu Church, in 2015, and to date, it has more than two hundred ordained angels and prophets. Like Jesus Christ, he has twelve disciples representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
Yesu wa Tongaren’s wife is among the prophets and goes by ‘Nabii Benjamin’, although she was born Susan Bulimo. Equally, his fifth-born son, nine years old, is a prophet and is known as Nabii Yusufu. Yesu wa Tongaren got married at 20 years old.
