Vera Sidika has revealed she has no room in her life for a new ‘King’ – especially not one 12 years her junior.

The 36-year-old media personality and entrepreneur has sensationally shut down swirling rumours that she is romantically involved with 23-year-old Arbantone rapper Tipsy Gee, branding the claims as nothing more than rumours and lies.

In a blistering Instagram update shared on Thursday, March 19, 2026, the mother of two took aim at bloggers and rumour mongers who she claims manufactured a romance out of thin air following their high-profile appearance at the WRC Safari Rally in Naivasha.

Vera, who has been single since her high-profile split from singer Brown Mauzo in 2023, didn’t mince her words as she dismantled the viral narrative.

“Funny how people spread rumors and lies then think they did something. Let me make this clear; I am NOT dating Tipsy. Someone started a rumour and everyone just ran with it. Let’s put it to rest,” she wrote.

The denial comes as a cold shower for fans who had been tracking the pair’s ‘matching’ social media posts and videos of Tipsy Gee, real name Kelvin Mugo, during the WRC rally in Naivasha over the past weekend.

The speculation was further fuelled by Tipsy Gee himself, who recently rose to fame from humble beginnings as a construction worker (mjengo) earning just Ksh400 a day.

When asked about the rumours earlier this week, the ‘Tiktoker’ hitmaker appeared to play into the fantasy, telling reporters in a light-hearted clip: “If I got such an opportunity, I wouldn’t turn it down. God, something like this, please!”

While the young rapper seemed happy to ride the wave of publicity, Vera Sidika – a veteran of the celebrity clout” game – now appears determined to keep her brand separate from the emerging Gen Z music scene.

The fake romance also caught the attention of Vera’s most famous ex, Otile Brown.

The ‘Chaguo La Moyo’ singer posted a cryptic message on Wednesday that many interpreted as a ‘protective’ jab at the situation, telling his followers to “take care of your maza (mother).”

Vera swiftly fired back, questioning why she was being provoked when she was simply living her life.

As she puts the Tipsy Gee rumours to rest, the bootyful socialite remains focused on her business empire and her family, proving that while she may enjoy the company of Kenya’s rising stars, she isn’t handing out ‘boyfriend’ titles anytime soon.
