Veteran socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has opened up about the type of man that catches her attention, revealing that her experiences with love have shaped her current preferences.
Speaking from Beverly Hills on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Sidika admitted that she is drawn to men who can take care of her, explaining that past heartbreaks have made her cautious about love.
“What kind of man attracts me? I would say money, because, to be honest, I have done love before and it was not a good experience. I love love is it just that I have been hurt so many times and I might give it a chance, but for now, it’s trick me take care of me,” Sidika outlined.

Sidika also shared what turns her off in a man, emphasising that she prefers humility over bragging or empty promises.
“My biggest turn off in a guy, I do not like a guy who talks too much, brags too much, I like a very humble man, just actions, do not say, ‘I could bought you this, I could have taken yopu to Dubai but you messed up’ I would just be like do that to the next person.'”she added.

According to the socialite, the requests have peaked with Valentine’s Day approaching, making her think seriously about the proposals.
Fresh from a trip to the United States, the mother of two is gearing up for Valentine’s Day and is yet to settle on who will be her date.
She has indicated that she might consider being someone’s Valentine provided the lucky man makes it worthwhile.
To bag her for Valentine’s one must be willing to part with 15,000 USD, the equivalent of Ksh1,935,000, going by the exchange rate as of today, Monday, February 9, 2026.
“$15,000 for Vera Sidika as your date on Valentine’s Day. Got hundreds of men in my DMs asking me to be their Valentine. So may the best one win,” Vera wrote on Facebook on Monday, February 9, 2026.
“It’s a week to Valentine’s, and guess what, my DM is full…wanaume! Everybody, Vee, could you be my Valentine?” Vera said.
“If you are going to make it worth it, I might just consider it, but here is the catch,” she added before detailing her requirement.
