Van Quiz’s wife confirms his burial date and location
Felisters Bosire, the wife of the late urban Gusii singer Van Quiz, has shared details of his burial plans, including directions to the location where the singer’s remains of the singer will be interred.
In an update on Facebook on Thursday, March 19, 2026, Felisters revealed that the body of the late singer will be taken to his rural home on March 26, 2026, with the burial happening the following day on Friday, March 27, 2026.
“Hello everyone, the burial arrangements for Van Quiz will be as follows: Ataletwa 26 azikwe 27 (the body will be brought on March 26 and buried on March 27),” she stated.
Directions to the singer’s home
She also gave detailed directions to those planning to attend the burial and appreciated the support and prayers she had received following the death of her husband.

“Location kwa wenye wanatoka tao utapanda gari side za Ogembo ushukie Omoringamu upande bike hadi matagaro ndo home.We appreciate your support and prayers . Mortuary ako Tabaka. Welcome all,
RIP my love
,” she concluded.
Van Quiz died after a short illness, throwing his fans and the Gusii music community into mourning.
His grieving widow shared the sad news on Saturday, March 14, 2026, expressing her shock at the turn of events.
““Haikuwa serious hivi, beb; nitaambia nn mtoi.RIP dear husband, sijaamini macho yangu kumbe ulinishika mkono kuniambia byeee (It was not this serious, babe. What will I tell our child? I can’t believe it that you held my hand to say bye)” Felisters mourned.
Felisters celebrates son’s birthday amid grief
His death came just days before their son celebrated his birthday, with Felisters paying a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, revealing the depth of her grief as she marked the day.
In an emotional post shared on her official Facebook account on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Felisters revealed that they had plans.
“Love it’s our sons birthday na tulikua tumepanga mengi sijui niseme nini lakani pumzika kwa amani, umekufa mwezi nilizaa mtoto wetu. Forever in my heart, dear. Happy birthday, son,” she wrote.

Van Quiz, celebrated for his soulful urban music that touched many across the Gusii community and Kenya at large, passed away suddenly, leaving behind a young family and a nation of grieving fans.
