TikToker Cynthia Achieng, popularly known on the video-sharing platform as Cindy Reborn, will remain admitted at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital for several more days after undergoing emergency surgery following complications caused by an ectopic pregnancy.

According to an update shared by her friend and fellow content creator Collins, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, the surgery was successful despite her condition having been very critical at the time of admission.

“We are from Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, and as you all saw on the TikTok live, Cindy had a successful surgery. Her situation was very critical, but the operation was successful,” he shared.

The procedure involved the removal of a pregnancy that had started developing outside the womb, a life-threatening complication that required urgent medical intervention.

Collins disclosed that doctors were able to successfully remove the baby and stabilise her condition.

However, due to the severity of the complication, Cindy will remain under medical observation for at least three more days and is likely to be discharged on Monday, depending on her recovery progress.

“Doctors were able to remove the baby that had started growing outside of the womb due to the ectopic pregnancy. She will remain at the hospital for three more days and will most likely be discharged on Monday,” he shared.

He further noted that he visited Cindy at the hospital together with members of their close circle, including her husband Janabi, their driver and the woman who had taken her to hospital the previous day after she developed the complications.

“We will keep you updated on all developments. I have the team here with me that visited the hospital, including her husband, Janabi, their driver, and the lady who took her to the hospital the day before when she developed the complication,” he said.

Ultrasound report

Earlier on Saturday, February 14, 2026, Cindy broke down in tears during a TikTok live after receiving the results of an ultrasound she underwent.

In the live broadcast, Cindy appeared visibly distressed as she addressed her followers about her hospital visit and the medical tests that suggested she had an ectopic pregnancy.

She said she had gone to the hospital and was informed that the required treatment would cost approximately Ksh260,000.

“I have gone to the hospital, and I have been told that the treatment will cost around 260k. The doctors have now said that I must have a C-section done on me,” she shared.

During the emotional session, Cindy strongly denied allegations circulating online that she was fabricating the situation to solicit money from her supporters.

She maintained that she had not asked anyone for financial assistance and insisted she would not lie about such serious medical news. In an effort to counter the claims, she displayed what she said was her doctor’s report during the live broadcast.

“I cannot be lying about such news because people think I am after money. No, I have not asked for any money yet, so it means I am not lying. Here is the doctor’s report,” she added.

The pelvic ultrasound report she shared indicated that the uterus was normal in size, measuring 8.49 cm by 3.66 mm, and showed homogeneous echotexture with no focal lesion observed. However, the report noted moderate free fluid within the endometrial cavity.

“Name of patient: Cynthia Achieng. Pelvic ultrasound report: The uterus is normal in size, measuring 8.49 cm by 3.66 mm, and shows homogeneous echotexture with no focal lesion seen. Moderate free fluid is noted in the endometrial cavity,” the report read in part.
