Thee Pluto reveals how his wife pushed him to be better

Digital creator and entrepreneur Robert Ndegwa Kamau, popularly known as Thee Pluto, has for the first time opened up about his wife and shared her photo publicly, a day after their traditional wedding, following his highly publicised breakup with Felicity Shiru.

The Instagram post marked the first time fans got a glimpse of his wife, ending months of speculation about her identity after she had remained anonymous online.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, January 4, 2026, Thee Pluto described how his wife, a disciplined medical professional, challenged him to step up both personally and professionally.

“From friendship born in a season when life was heavy, to a bond that carried us across the world… she looked at my undergraduate level and said, ‘You can do more, we’re the same age, buana.’ That challenge changed me,” he wrote.

He praised her for pushing him beyond comfort, showing love unconditionally to his daughter, and supporting his growth.

“Sometimes love doesn’t pamper you, it pushes you. She saw my flaws clearly and still chose me. And I chose her, just as intentionally, to walk this lifetime journey together,” he added.

Thee Pluto also reflected on the role of family and tradition in their union, noting that their families had come together to bless the marriage, with their ancestors honoured in the process.

“This is not a perfect story; it’s a real one. Built on growth, respect, shared vision and a quiet but powerful ‘we,’” he said, emphasising that while his wife stays away from online attention, her impact has been profound.

Thee Pluto on his marriage noted that the union symbolised not only the coming together of two individuals but also the merging of histories, prayers, and generations.

“In humility, we came before our people. In love, we gave and received. In faith, we stepped into a covenant greater than us; one rooted in respect, patience and purpose,” he added.
