Nigerian music power couple Simi and Adekunle Gold are celebrating seven years of marriage, sharing heartfelt tributes that capture the depth of their bond.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Simi poured her heart out as she reflected on the journey with Adekunle Gold, describing him as her peace, her partner, and the man she still fits with.

“My baby. Seven years and you’re still the one,” she wrote, expressing gratitude for the joy and calm he has brought into her life. Reflecting on their early days, Simi recalled a moment when a friend questioned her choice.

“I remember when we were still dating, and someone asked me, ‘Why him?’ I said, ‘We just fit.’ We still fit.”

The singer went on to praise Adekunle for seeing her fully and loving her without conditions, acknowledging her strength and fiery nature.

“You see me. You’re mindful of me. You love me,” she said, adding that she is not naturally gentle but a fighter. “Thank you for not making me fight to be seen and loved.”

Simi also commended her husband for being a good man, noting that such men are rare. She thanked him for taking care of her and for being worth the sacrifices that come with being a wife and a mother.

“I love you. Husband of my youth,” she concluded, ending her message with a prayer for their home.

He continued, “We’ve laughed hard, grown deeply, prayed sincerely, and chosen each other again and again. And through it all, loving you has been the easiest, most beautiful decision of my life. Seven years in, and my heart still knows where it belongs. I love you, Simi.”
