‘She even breastfed my cousin’ – Priscilla Ojo opens up on Iyabo Ojo’s rare sacrifice
By Valerian Khakayi, May 11, 2026Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has opened up about the deep sacrifices made by her mother, veteran actress Iyabo Ojo, describing her not only as a parent but also as a selfless caregiver to many beyond her own children.
Speaking about her upbringing, Priscilla, in a candid interview on the With Chude podcast, revealed that her mother’s love extended far beyond the boundaries of her immediate family, as she often opened her home and heart to others in need of care.
“My mother did not just raise her own children; she opened her heart and her home to many others, even nurturing them as her own,” Priscilla revealed.
In a deeply personal revelation, Priscilla shared that Iyabo Ojo once went as far as breastfeeding one of her cousins, a moment she says reflects the rare generosity and nurturing spirit of her mother.
“She has a lot of children; she even breastfed one of my cousins, sharing my breast with somebody else when I was younger. Is that fair?” she said, reflecting on the unusual but emotional sacrifice.

According to the influencer, this level of selflessness is what defines her mother’s character, describing her as someone with a golden heart and pure intentions toward everyone around her.
“That is how much her golden heart is; that is how pure she is,” she added.
Parents’ separation
Priscilla also spoke about her family dynamics, revealing that despite her parents’ separation emotionally, she never felt the absence of a father figure while growing up.
“She played both roles. I did not feel like there was a father figure missing,” Priscilla stated.
“My parents fell out of love.”
