Rachael Otuoma fires first shot at Captain Sammir over persistent online digs at ex Hanna

TikTok influencer and late footballer Ezekiel Otuma’s widow, Rachael, has taken a stand against Hanna Benta’s ex-lover, Captain Sammir, for making a habit of tossing insults her way during TikTok lives.

Speaking during a TikTok live on Sunday, February 8, 2026, Rachael urged Sammir to stop using hurtful nicknames aimed at Hanna, stressing that she believed Hanna never liked the names being used.

“Stop calling her ‘Mbilikimo.’ I have mentioned and urged you to stop using those names because I have heard her several times say that she does not like them,” Rachael said.

Before Rachael could finish, Sammir interrupted, defending his actions at length and explaining the context behind the playful shade.

Sammir stated that he and Hanna had a mutual agreement to trade playful teasing online, but that the arrangement came with a clear rule that only Hanna herself could indicate when the teasing had gone too far.

“Rachael, stop it. If Hanna has a problem with me calling her names, she should reach out and tell me. We have an agreement with her that we will be shading each other online, but when one feels it’s too much, they tell the other, and it stops. That was our mutual agreement,” Sammir said.

He emphasised that Rachael or anyone else had no authority to dictate what names he could or could not use toward Hanna.

Sammir insisted that as long as Hanna had not expressed discomfort, he was free to continue using the nickname “mbilikimo” and other jabs during his lives.

“Right now, only Hanna can tell me if what I’ve said is too much. If it’s not her saying it, Rachael, I cannot listen to you. Let the person I have the agreement with tell me that. But she has yet to. And if she says the shade is too much, I will honour it.”

He further clarified that Hanna also called him names she knew he disliked, and that the agreement allowed for mutual playful banter as part of their social media strategy to increase engagement.

Sammir argued that the nickname he often used had become a signature part of their online dynamic, intended to entertain and draw views, and that changing it without Hanna’s consent would violate the original understanding.

“She also calls me names that I don’t want to be called. She usually leaves nasty comments about me in her lives. So if she feels the shade has gone too far, she should come to me and say, ‘The name “Mbilikimo” is too much.’ We agreed to go crazy on each other until this TikTok blows up, so each of us can amass views and gains in our own way,” he said.
