Content creator Pritty Vishy has openly said she does not know how to wash clothes or do many household chores, adding that she has never seen herself as someone who fits the usual idea of “wife material.”

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, she explained that she struggles with basic tasks such as folding clothes, cleaning dishes every day, or wiping surfaces around the house.

She said, “I don’t know how to be wife material. I don’t know how to wash clothes. I cannot wash my clothes, and yes, at some point nishawai kuwa mama fua.”

She added that cleaners make her life easier, and she fully supports using them. According to her, people should embrace the help that cleaners offer instead of forcing themselves to do tasks they do not enjoy.

She said, “I cannot wash vyombo every single day, okay, I can cook but vyombo, ehh manguo, sijui kukunja, no no that is why cleaners are available. Let us promote cleaners, na mimi nita wapromote.”

The pressure to fit expectations

Vishy explained that simple household chores like wiping a TV stand, cleaning a carpet, or organising the kitchen are difficult for her. She said these tasks do not come naturally to her, even though she likes a clean space. She mentioned that her struggle with chores is not because she dislikes hygiene but because the process of doing the chores feels overwhelming.

She said, “Kama tv stand, mimi siwezi panguza, eti carpet, kitanda, jikoni kwa counter.”

She also shared that she has reached a point where she believes she must work hard and become successful so she can afford help at home. For her, the idea of living in a clean home while lacking the ability to keep it clean on her own means she will need to hire people who can assist with the work.

She explained, “At this point I have to be rich… siezi kosa kupenda usafi na nikue masikini.”

She stressed that she values a clean environment and is ready to support people who offer cleaning services. According to her, promoting cleaners makes sense because they help people who may not be good at chores but still want a clean home.
