Pritty Vishy: Better to be broke alone than with 2 kids

In a statement on January 7, 2026, Pritty noted that while she may not be financially comfortable, she is grateful not to have additional responsibilities.
“At least I’m broke on my own. Imagine being broke with two kids. May the Lord be praised,” she wrote.
This comes a few weeks after Pritty Vishy opened up about the emotional and daily challenges she faces while caring for her nonverbal autistic sister.
In a statement on Monday, December 22, 2025, Vishy recounted a particularly overwhelming day when she had to assist her sister through her first menstrual cycle.
Vishy described the experience as intense, noting that it required constant attention and patience. She shared that mornings like these leave her “on her toes” as she navigates her sister’s needs, from hygiene to emotional comfort.
“Wash her, clean her, or take care of her. I have to, because I don’t want her to cry every time,” she explained in her video, reflecting the practical yet emotionally taxing responsibilities she carries.
The content creator highlighted the emotional strain of raising a child who cannot communicate verbally. Days can be particularly overwhelming, especially when her sister is experiencing new and confusing milestones, such as the onset of menstruation.
“Having a disabled kid, a nonverbal disabled kid, and then if she can’t have her menses, is the hardest and most overwhelming time,” Vishy noted.
Despite the challenges, Vishy emphasised the importance of consistently showing love and care. She shared that even on difficult days, she strives to provide comfort, understanding, and reassurance, ensuring her sister feels safe and supported.
“Every day, I just try as much as I can to show her love, to show that I care. Days like these, I wish my sister could talk,” she said.
