Popular Kikuyu content creator Kairu wa Ndeiya has been discharged from Saint Bridget Hospital in Kiambu after a three-day stay.

In a post shared on his Facebook page on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Kairu confirmed the development, sharing that he would continue recuperating at home.

He expressed gratitude to God and his fans for their prayers during his illness, saying they had played a key role in his recovery.

“I’ve been discharged finally. I’ll continue recovering at home. I thank God for protection, and Thankyou my fans, for your prayers, Dear Saint Bridget Hospital, Kiambu,” he wrote.

Kairu, who is popular for doing cross-dressing content, then praised the hospital staff for their professionalism and compassion, describing the services he received as top-notch.

He thanked the medical team for their dedication, noting that their attentive care played a key role in his speedy recovery.

“Thank you so much for the wonderful services and compassionate care I received while I was sick. Your attention and dedication truly helped me get better. Your services are top-notch. I would recommend them anytime. I deeply appreciate everything you did to take care of me,” Kairu further wrote.

Fake claims

The development comes just two days after Kairu lashed out at Facebook influencer and blogger Cukura ya Nairobi for spreading reports that he was in a very critical condition following his hospitalisation.

In a post shared on Facebook on Thursday, December 11, 2025, Kairu dismissed the claims about being in a critical stage and urged Cukura not to mislead the public and his fans.

“I have never been admitted. I am scared, but I believe I will come out victorious. I am not in a critical stage. Uria Wari Cukura ya Nairobi, do not mislead people,” Kairu posted.

The development followed Cukura’s posts on social media, which painted a concerning picture of Kairu’s health.

Cukura had claimed that Kairu was discharged from St Francis Hospital but had been transferred to another hospital in Kiambu.

He described Kairu as not being well at all and called for prayers from fans, implying that the content creator was in a critical state.

“Breaking news: Kairu wa Ndeiya has been discharged from St Francis Hospital and is now transferred to Kiambu. He is not well at all. Let’s pray for him,” Cukura said in one post.

Cukura repeated these assertions in multiple posts, suggesting that Kairu’s health was deteriorating and creating widespread concern among followers.

“Breaking news: Kairu wa Ndeiya left the hospital yesterday. Imagine he has been admitted to another hospital. He is not okay. Let’s wish him a quick recovery,” Cukura said in another.

Kairu was first admitted on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
