Pastor Kanyari shares post after Betty Bayo’s mum exposes family disputes

Salvation Healing Ministries founder, Pastor Victor Kanyari, has shared a cryptic message just hours after his ex-wife Betty Bayo’s mother made explosive claims regarding her widower, Hiram Gitau.

In a post shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Kanyari mentioned Betty Bayo’s name and implied that he would be in shock should the developments exposed by her mother prove to be true.

While Kanyari, who is attending a church service at Bishop Ben Keingei’s JCM Church, did not clarify the exact meaning of his post, his fans reacted with a mixture of concern and speculation.

Some urged him to refrain from making further posts and to act on the advice given by Betty Bayo’s mother regarding taking custody of his children, while others remarked that the mother’s revelations had left many as stunned as Kanyari himself.

Responsible father

In her statement on the night of Saturday, December 6, 2025, Betty Bayo’s mother, Joyce Wairimu, praised Pastor Kanyari, describing him as a good man with whom she maintains a cordial relationship.

Joyce revealed that she has been in direct communication with Kanyari regarding the custody of his children, Sky and Danny.

She urged the self-styled prophet to prioritise seeking full custody of the children to ensure their safety and well-being.

“Besides everything I have said about Tash, I want to say that Kanyari is a good man, and we have a very good friendship. With these new developments, I spoke to him recently and asked him to prioritise seeking full custody of his children,” she said.

At the same time, Joyce made explosive claims about Betty’s widower, Tash, saying he had mishandled aspects of her daughter’s property and even dared her to take legal action if she wished.

She explained that she would personally oversee the return of all property and belongings that rightfully belonged to Betty because she is the only legally recognised next of kin.

“As for Tash, I want him to return all the belongings he currently has that belonged to my daughter, and I will personally oversee that process. You can imagine that when I raised my concerns with him, he told me to take him to court if I wanted to. I think he assumed I didn’t have the power to speak or that I wouldn’t come forward. Now I have, and this is my official statement,” Joyce shared.
