Pastor Kanyari gifts lady who met viral Russian guy Ksh30K, vows to empower her

Salvation Healing Ministry founder, Pastor Victor Kanyari, has expressed excitement after Choice Gatwiri Kinoti, the young woman who met the viral Russian guy, visited his church.
Speaking during the service held at the church’s headquarters in Kayole Junction on Sunday, February 22, 2026, the preacher also gifted her Ksh30,000 and promised to empower her to start a business of her choice.
Kanyari, who was delighted that she had chosen to visit the church, further revealed that he would offer more support to Choice once they had time to sit down and discuss life during a special lunch meeting.
“I will go to the office together with you, and we will also have lunch together. We will speak more then. For now, I am handing you Ksh30,000, and the business you want, I will help you open it. Don’t worry; this is just a small gesture for you,” he said.

Following the announcement, Choice expressed her excitement to the preacher for his generosity, stating that she had come to witness firsthand that he is truly a good man.
She also referenced the biblical story of how Jesus multiplied fish to appreciate the preacher and to encourage others to recognise that he is God-sent.
“Oh wow, that is so good. I am humbled, and your pastor is truly wonderful, guys. What he has said is that we should go to the fish and give money,” she said.
HIV test
Choice took the test during an interview with Kikuyu podcaster Muhia Wa Maingi on Saturday, February 21, 2026, revealing that she did so partly to calm herself down.
In the video, she is seen being handed a testing kit by Muhia and proceeding to draw blood from her finger, visibly trembling as she awaited the outcome.
She admitted feeling extremely nervous and uncertain about how the test would turn out and how she would react if it came back positive.
At the same time, Choice explained that she had decided not to wait until it was too late to know her status and had chosen to let the public know the results.
“Yeah, let’s test for the sake of myself. Omg, I am very tense and very nervous. If I have HIV, don’t judge me. I am sweating, but I have decided that people must know the truth, and that is why I have agreed to take the test,” she shared.
