Padre Michael Watenga names nightclub he will headline during New Year’s crossover

Anglican priest from the Diocese of Kitale, Padre Michael Watenga, popularly known as Padre wa Wote, has confirmed that he will headline Quintos Lounge in Turkana during the upcoming New Year crossover on December 31, 2025.
Speaking in a video shared on his TikTok page on Saturday, December 27, 2025, Watenga revealed that the nightclub performance will serve as the grand finale for his 2025 ministry visits across Kenya, blending faith and nightlife in his signature style.
He encouraged attendees to join him at Quintos Lounge to celebrate the season while receiving blessings and prayers.
“God is good. Padre Michael Watenga here. Quintos Lounge is where I will wrap up my year, yeah, this year,” he said.
Watenga also shared a festive message, urging his followers to reflect on God’s goodness and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
“That lounge is where I will wrap up my year, so see you there on December 31 in Turkana. God bless you and Merry Christmas,” he added.
East African mission
Taking to his official social media accounts on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Watenga disclosed that in December and next year, he will be visiting nightclubs located in Tanzania and Uganda.
Watenga, known for blending faith with nightlife, encouraged people to lead with love instead of judgment.
“The Mission knows it is officially moving to Uganda. and Tanzania, let’s always be led with love, not hate and judgment. #Who made you a judge!It’s God work,” he wrote.

The announcement came after he visited Nairobi at Alfakher Lounge on December 12, 2025, where he held a special session of his unique nightclub ministry.
“Nairobi For Christ- Will be expanding my mission to East Africa in December and next year,” he added.
Conditions for invites
The popular preacher revealed that he had also received invitations from Kisii, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Nakuru. However, he noted that his nightclub visit comes with a few practical conditions to ensure smooth logistics.
“Nimepata invitation from Kisii, Mombasa, Kisumu, na Nakuru, but of course ukini invite unafaa ujue nitakufikia aje like fuel, accommodation na security; those are my only conditions,” he said.
