Nyojoro features Gachagua as main cast in new skit about how party tickets are brokered

Kikuyu content creator and comedian Nyojoro has left his fans in stitches after featuring former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as the main cast in a new skit about how party tickets are brokered.
In the skit, shared on his social media pages on Saturday, March 28, 2026, Nyonjoro is seen sitting on a bench alongside Gachagua and beginning to make a call to someone.
He is heard telling the person on the phone that he was with the DCP Party leader, who had made him in charge of party tickets, for which he was charging Ksh50,000.
“So do this, send me all the money; it’s Ksh 50,000, and I will give it to him right now,” Nyonjoro said.
While delivering his usual humorous acting style, Nyonjoro then went ahead to explain to Gachagua that the call he had made was to someone seeking to run for the Githunguri MP seat and that he had found an opportunity to solicit money from him.
“So, the person I was talking to is someone interested in vying for MP in our Githunguri Constituency. That is why I asked him to send me some money so we can hand him the party ticket,” he added.

While delivering his lines perfectly, Gachagua reacted first, wondering whether Nyonjoro was referring to his party or another one.
“In which party are you talking about? Weee,” Gachagua said in his first line in the skit.
He then went ahead to explain to Nyonjoro that his party does not broker tickets.
He clarified that if the person truly wants a DCP Party ticket, he must hit the ground running, engage locals, and convince them in order to earn the ticket through a free and fair nomination.
“So, let me inform you. The DCP Party does not have a broking. No. If he wants a ticket, tell him to go and engage women, youths, and all people. Then there will be a free and fair nomination, and those are the ones who give him a ticket. Here, there is no broking,” Gachagua said.

He went on to applaud Nyojoro for creating skits about ticket brokering, pointing out that brokers cannot succeed in the DCP Party since the power to decide lies with the people.
“Even if you are brokering, do not broker in DCP because you will make people hate you. Here, we usually want the citizens to have the bigger power,” Gachagua added, as the skit ended with Nyonjoro pretending to hop onto another phone call.
