Njambi Fever says influencers are being offered up to Ksh1M to back politicians
By Paulette Mboga, February 27, 2026Blogger Njambi Fever has claimed that some influencers are being offered money to back certain politicians.
In a post on Instagram on Friday, February 27, 2026,she revealed that some influencers are receiving between Ksh250,000 and Ksh1 million to support specific political figures.
She warned that the trend is already underway across social media platforms.
Njambi said she first posted about it on WhatsApp and made her views clear.

“But for real, I posted this on WhatsApp recently, I don’t have shame,” she said.
She added that she is willing to work with many brands and content, but politics is different.

Njambi Fever said she was shocked to learn that influencers can get paid large sums of money to push a politician.
“I was actually shocked juzi ati you can get paid lots of money as an influencer to support a particular politician ndio wengine wafuate,” she said.
She added that her own vote cannot be bought.
“Kura yangu sio ya kununuliwa at least kwa hii wacha tu nikose hizo pesa. Respectfully,” she said.
Politics is where she draws the line
She explained that she has been tempted several times to post political content for money.
“They’ve tempted me a couple of times & I ranted so much on WhatsApp the other day,” she said.
She said she will not take part in such campaigns and will vote freely.
“Mtu asijaribu hiyo upuzi na mimi hapo kwa Politics is where I draw the line,” she said.

Njambi Fever said the campaigns are already active on social media.
“Give it time, mtaanza kuona posts very soon,” she said.
She said platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X are being used for political promotion. She added that people are earning good money through these campaigns.
She urged others to watch what happens as the elections approach.
“Fungueni macho tu mtajionea. Mambo itakuwa moto. We’ll be here,” she said.
She stressed that peace is more important than any payment or campaign. “Peace is important!” she said.
Njambi Fever also joked about other types of paid work she accepts.
“Leteni deals hata illegal tutachapa, just kidding weh,” she said.
