Njambi Fever calls for protection of children amid rising fears

Blogger Njambi Fever has raised concerns about the safety of children in the country.
In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, May 11, 2026, she spoke about the issue after coming across online reports that children’s bodies had been found in a river in Gatanga constituency. Njambi said the situation had left her worried and emotional.
“Tuombeeni watoto wetu jamani something very terrible is going on in this country, and if something is not done, kutakuwa kubaya,” Njambi Fever said.
The content creator and blogger questioned what was happening to children and asked why such incidents continued. She said she had just seen information about bodies of children being found in a river in Murang’a County. Njambi explained that the reports had deeply disturbed her.

“Ni nini? I’ve just seen now that bodies of children zimepatikana kwa mto? Murang’a county? What is happening? Who is targeting children? We are failing our children!!!” she said.
Concern grows over missing children
Njambi also urged people to pay attention to the reports coming from River Kiama in Regetha village, Gatanga constituency. She explained that she could not share the videos she had seen because of how disturbing they were. According to her, the matter should not be ignored because children’s safety is becoming a serious concern.

“Stop whatever you’re doing & look for this story. I’m sorry I can’t post those videos. Search ‘River Kiama’ in Regetha village, Gatanga constituency, Murang’a county!” Njambi Fever said.
She added that the reports had left her shaken and worried about the safety of children. Njambi explained that many parents think their children are safely playing outside, only for something terrible to happen. She said the issue had given her goosebumps.
“Nimejaa goosebumps. You think kids are playing outside unapigiwa wametupwa kwa mto. Apana aki,” she said.
Her remarks also come at a time when many cases of missing children are being shared online. Lately, social media platforms have been flooded with posters of missing children almost every day.
The reports have continued to raise fear among parents and families across the country as concerns over children’s safety continue to grow.
